Step 1: Do they have a frequent shopper card?

Jewel’s frequent shopper card is called the Jewel-Osco Preferred Card and is available at the Customer Service desk. This card will give you the preferred prices when it is scanned.

Step 2: Do they participate in any catalina programs?

Yes, they do participate in the national catalina programs, as well as those by various product manufacturers (Kraft, ConAgra, etc.). These catalinas print in the form of coupons from a machine next to the register. Sometimes they are advertised and sometimes they are not. Catalinas at Jewel will usually roll when offered (meaning you can buy Product A for a catalina and use it in another transaction on another Product A).

Step 3: Do they have an official coupon policy?

With Jewel, the coupon policy can vary by location:

  • Most will take a store coupon & manufacturer coupon per item when applicable.
  • They will NOT take expired coupons.
  • They also participate in most national catalina programs.
  • Catalinas at Jewel will usually roll when offered (meaning you can buy Product A for a catalina and use it in another transaction on another Product A).

Check with your local store to find out their policy.

They also participate in an internal e-coupon program. Go to Jewel-Osco’s website and register your card.

Once you have done this, you can add e-coupons (called Avenu Savings by Jewel) to your Preferred Card.

Step 6: Do they have any internal publications that offer savings?

None at this time.

Step 7: Anything else I should know?

Visit your Avenu page before each shopping trip. You need to visit the webpage for the savings to be loaded to your card.
